Stephanie Buchanan, owner and manager of Baker Stables, has been providing riding instruction and training for OVER 20 years.  Stephanie has her bachelors in Applied Science & Technology from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, NJ and currently works full time at a  local Hospital.  She has served as Secretary for the English division and Vice President for dressage on the local English Circuit of South Jersey (ECSJ).  She is also a member of USEF, USDF, ECRDA and SGSDS. 

Stephanie began riding at an early age and has always ridden or owned a horse since she was a teenager.  Her first great horse was "Dancer's Image" which she owned and showed with her late instructor, Gwili Thieler, from "Five Point Farm" in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.  After Steph finished college, she decided that her passion was to own, operate, and give instruction on her own farm.  In her late twenties, Steph showed several other horses to many championships including:  2002 Saddlebrook Ridge Starter Horse "Big Tri", 2003 ECSJ Baby Green - "Touch of Grey", 2004 ECSJ low/working hunter "Touch of Grey" and dressage (ECSJ and SGSDS) training level horse "Especially Lucky" and in 2007 was a member of the USDF Training Level Quadrille team of the year.  Stephanie also has many reserve championships and numerous other year end awards to her credit on several other horses.  
In 2005, Steph decided to start a family and welcomed her daughter Devon, and in 2008 had a son named Hunter.  Steph is managing a busy life with work at the hospital, farm, and 2 children. 
2010 Steph & Man of Honor SGSDS Intro Champion & ECSJ Reserve Champion Intro Sr.
2011 Won Hell's Angel TB Rescue Award for highest Placed TB that year. 3rd-CCST-Starter Horse Walk Trot.
2011 Steph and her Daughter Devon won 3rd ECRDA champions in their Divisions.

   Steph has turned her attention to bringing Devon along with her riding. Devon finished 2020 as Grand Champion Open Hunter at 14 with George and is bringing along her new mount Noah a 17.1 h OTTB that we are really looking forward to a bright future.
