Horse Camp:

Horse Camp is a great way to learn about horses and the responsibility involved with them.  Camp is offered in the summer and around weekends/holidays (Easter, Memorial Day, Columbus Day).  Baker Stables LLC offers some camps that attend major local horse shows all within a 2 hour driving distance - Devon, The NJ Horse Park, and the new Dream Park.

Some of the activities include:

• daily care of the horses and barn chores
• different horse breeds, colors, and markings
• proper care of tack and equipment
• trailer safety
• horse first aid
• horse diseases
• basic riding skills and riding time
• horseback games and horse educational board games
• different types and styles of riding disciplines
• safety around horses
  Horse camp is geared for kids to have fun while learning about horses.  Camp educates riders to many aspects of horses that may not be addressed during the regular lesson program.  Baker Stables Horse Camp molds riders to become well rounded equestrians.
